• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in a product management, engineering, and/or technology role.
• Experience in building and managing a platform.
• Experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving the product vision, defining go-to-market strategy, and leading design discussions. Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to build personalized products.
  • Experience building developer focused tools and platforms.

    In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at Google speed.

    As a Product Manager, your mission will be to build a strategy and roadmap to create computing experiences in the home for Google Nest users. You'll work with multiple cross-functional teams and be especially involved in collaborations with Google Assistant and Android teams. Our Devices & Services team combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences for users. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology. Responsibilities
    • Own the strategy and roadmap. Manage the product team.
    • Enable Google Nest to build products and services that leverage research and data on evolving technology trends in the home. Define the privacy and security policies for ambient computing in the home.
    • Manage product execution, working closely with engineering, program management, UX, and partner teams to land the best experience for our users.
    • Coordinate and align cross-functional teams such as business development, marketing, finance, customer support, and legal. Work with Google Nest teams to define requirements.
    • Work with the analytics team to implement a data driven framework for understanding and improving our user experiences to increase connected households, helpful actions, and number of subscribers.
