Title: Logistics - (Entry Level) Dispatcher

Adecco is assisting a national client who is one of the world's largest search engine in recruiting for a Logistics - ( Entry Level ) Dispatcher job in Mountain View, CA. This is a long term temporary opportunity. As the courier dispatch operator, you will ensure that drivers are dispatched to specified routes and orders are delivered in a timely manner. Responsibilities for this Logistics - Dispatcher job include:

-Use the dispatch IT system to assign routes to drivers based on capacity, proximity to pick-up location, and other relevant considerations

-Provide drivers with guidance on pick up addresses and other support throughout the day

-Oversee delivery routes and ensure that 100% of orders are delivered on time

-Identify any on time delivery misses and provide reports and insight

-Recommend process improvements

-Evaluate performance at the end of every day and recommend process improvements based on your experience

Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree ( a technical degree is a plus)

-Needs to be technically savvy

-Process improvement experience and experience in operations

-Problem solving and critical thinking

-Quick thinking and have experience implementing more efficient processes
