As a Federal Sales Manager, you will build and grow our federal business. This includes formulating our federal GTM strategy, finding first beachheads accounts, and building partnership with boutique federal resellers and distributors.

Requirements

You must have a demonstrated successful record in building federal business from scratch at a startup.

Worked at a, preferably cybersecurity, stratup and got first few federal customers
First hand knowledge of federal buying process, including certification, govclouds, and buying vehicles
Strong relationship with relevant partners
Experience in all three areas of federal business: civilian, defense, and intelligence community

You must take pride in winning and working closely with your team members. You will work closely with your sales engineer for support and with commercial sales and marketing team for collateral.

Security clearance is required and non-lapsed top-secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications:
Experience successfully selling data protection technology, such as encryption, HSMs, key management, tokenization, or modern IT solution
5+ years experience driving complex enterprise sales processes, including $1M+ deals.
Comfortable working in a roll-up your sleeves, get your hands dirty start-up environment.
Strong consultative selling skills and disciplined sales process.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
