Robert Half is on the lookout for a tech-savvy individual with great management skills to take on the role of an IT Engineer at a premiere company. If you are success-driven, an organized problem solver, and passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable infrastructure/network, this job may be for you. You will support the infrastructure to the business by ensuring integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You should be comfortable working with constantly changing software, hardware, and have a good understanding of how DHCP works. Our dedication to ongoing education is critical to staying current and fully informed. This IT Engineer is a temporary to permanent role in the Mountain View, California, area.
Responsibilities

• 
  
• 
  Administer End user support in a MS Windows environment
  
  
• 
  Coordinating and executing upgrades to network software and hardware
  
  
• 
  Analyzing and fixing local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network issues
  
  
• 
  Controlling the operation of services related to all local area networks and wide area networks, while adhering to company policies and procedures
  
  
• 
  Able to communicate effectively with ticket submitters
  
  
• 
  Handle asset management as well as onboarding and offboarding
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • 
    5+ years of strong systems/ network support or related experience
    
    
  • 
    Efficient in a MS Windows heavy setting as well as being able to independently provide software and hardware support
    
    
  • 
    Network Troubleshooting experience desired
    
    
  • 
    LAN/WAN troubleshooting/ configuring capabilities
    
    
  • 
    Must have MS O365 and/or Google Workspace administration skills
    
    
  • 
    Cloud experience is preferred: Azure/ AWS environment
