Geomagical Labs is creating 3D spatial computing experiences for millions of users around the world, in partnership with IKEA. Our pioneering 3D apps allow customers to scan photorealistic models of their spaces, then reimagine their spaces in life-like 3D, from anywhere, changing home commerce along the way.
About the roleWe have an opening for a Senior Javascript software engineer to join the Graphics team in creating new mixed reality features and visual interactions for millions of users. On the Graphics team, we are responsible for all aspects of the 3D content experience - asset creation, asset processing, data specifications, and rendering. We work closely with the AI research teams to bring to market new ways to create photo-realistic rendering techniques.
In this role, you will

• Have an opportunity to work on a dynamic team of successful serial entrepreneurs, software developers, AI researchers, and graphics engineers
• Deliver first-to-market, photorealistic, mixed-reality design products to millions of people
• Work with the latest tools and technologies - like TypeScript, WebGL, glTF and WebAssembly
• Improve the performance, stability, and architecture of a web application used for realtime design
• Work closely with other teams to design and implement elegant solutions for complex problems
  Requirements
  • 5+ years building production software
  • Expert in JavaScript and modern browser APIs
  • Ability to work independently and drive work to completion
  • Experience with solving complex full-stack design problems
  • Eager to solve challenging performance problems
    Nice to have
    • Experience with graphics programming (ThreeJS, WebGL, etc.) and modern rendering techniques
    • Knowledge of software design patterns
    • Strong visual aesthetic to partner with the design team
    • Experience with React + Redux
    • Experience with AR/VR or other mixed reality projects
