Learn more at THE OPPORTUNITYThis is a full-time, exempt level position in Mountain View, California.SVCF's work environment is based on a holistic wellness approach and therefore, has embraced a hybrid remote/office work environment. All SVCF team members must be based and hold residency in California and must be able to regularly attend team and staff meetings, trainings and other gathering in Mountain View when required.JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Information Technology, the IT Infrastructure Engineer position is responsible for managing the daily operations and security of SVCF computer networks, on-premise and third party hosted environments, cloud environments and all infrastructure software running on these environments. The successful candidate must possess a strong expertise of network and server infrastructure, VMware virtual environment, SQL database and cybersecurity defenses.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, support, monitor, and enhance all SVCF operating environments to ensure the highest level of security, availability and performance. SVCF operates on-premise, third party hosted, and cloud environments. These operating environments include state-of-the art network, physical and virtual servers, converged storage and a multitude of infrastructure software.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all infrastructure equipment and software under management.
  • Manage, administer, and monitor Fortinet, ISPs, Windows AD, Intune, Azure, VMware, Nutanix, SQL, public DNS and other server software and services.
  • Manage, administer and monitor cybersecurity tools such as email spam blocking, anti-phishing, anti-virus, anti-malware.
  • Participate in the administration of user productivity tools such as Office 365, Box, Zoom, Okta.
  • Assist Customer Success and Business Systems teams to manage, troubleshoot and resolve production and user issues.
  • Partner with InfoSec or outsourced managed security service provider to assist with information asset's confidentiality, integrity and availability.
  • Build relationships with colleagues in IT, key stakeholders and users to ensure that goals for infrastructure service quality, user productivity and satisfaction are understood and exceeded.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on key infrastructure performance indicators, trends and performance against service level expectations.
  • Provide recommendations and collaborate in strategic planning and setting of overall service and technical direction for the department.
  • Other related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSETS
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or training records a plus
    • At least five years of IT experience with at least three of those years working as a network and server administrator
    • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Strong customer service skills and vendor management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work with diverse people and in diverse groups
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines within designated timeframes, as well as demonstrated ability to set priorities
    • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative environment A commitment to continuous improvement
