Job Description:

Aerospike is a leading distributed database vendor offering real-time record retrieval at petabyte scale.--We are seeking a build/release engineer to support Aerospike's product line, including the database, tools, connectors, and language-specific clients. As a build and release engineer you will collaborate with the development and QE teams to design and implement the automated delivery of software releases and new projects.--The position is based at our headquarters in Mountain View, CA.Responsibilities:* Design and implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using best practices such as unit testing, code coverage, static code analysis, security scanning* Troubleshoot and debug build issues* Integrate into package and image repositories such as Maven Central, GitHub Packages, Docker Hub, Helm Hub* Work with engineering/QE teams to set the direction for multiple system build environments and streamline work globally* Ensure the appropriate documentation and communication of processes, practices and troubleshooting techniquesRequired Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field* 3-5 years of experience in software build and release technologies within a Linux software development environment* Scripting experience using Python & bash* Experience with SCM/build tools including Git, Maven, ANT* Experience packaging software into RPM and Debian packages* Experience creating and registering images using Docker, Helm or Packer* Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TravisCI, or similar CI tools* Experience with AWS highly desirable* Experience with Mac build environments; experience with MacOS (app permission models, system extensions, keychain) desirable* Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
