Learning Links, by AbilityPath, is hiring an Infant Teacher for our Inclusive Preschool in Mountain View! The Infant/Toddler Teacher collaborates with the preschool team and families in educating children in an inclusive environment with an emphasis on cognition, behavior, social-emotional development, and kindergarten readiness. Closely following state and county health official orders and ensuring our plans align.
Regular testing for our preschool staff ABOUT THE ROLE: Supervise day-to-day operations of inclusive preschool classroom and ensure overall health and safety of the program
Responsible for ongoing development, evaluation and oversight of the child centered, play based curriculum for children with special needs
Lead staff in supervision and guidance of children with special needs, ages 2 to 5 years old, planning and implementation of classroom activities.
Assist Preschool Admin Team with coordinating IEP and private pay services, process to include development of appropriate goals, objectives for all children with special needs in the program
Partner with external districts and families to support development and implementation of Childs IEP
Conduct DRDP, ECERS reports, follow all Title 22 regulations, CARF standards, NPS compliance and CCL and CAL-OSHA standards Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and ability is qualifying, unless otherwise specified. AA Degree, Bachelor's or Master's in Early Childhood Education preferred
Early Childhood Education Teaching Credential preferred
Preferred 12+ core ECE units as per Title 22 requirements but not required- we will help you get your ECE units
3 Infant Units preferred or ability to complete within first 60 days of hire
Experience teaching children ages 2 - 5 years old HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Driver's License/ID
Proof of negative TB test results
Verification of physical clearance
Passing a criminal fingerprint clearance
18 years of age or job permit clearance
Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination + Booster PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: Accommodations made upon request to Human Resources
