your leadership skills to help define every aspect of an emerging
device category with very little precedent in the real world. In
this role, you will work closely with UX Engineers, Interaction
Designers, Visual Designers, UX Researchers, Product Leads, and
Hardware teams to bring spatial experiences to life, shaping how
users interact with this groundbreaking technology, and laying the
foundation for new interaction models and design patterns that
influence future product generations. As part of a small team, you
will need to be able to both contribute as an IC and take the lead
on bigger initiatives, working directly with cross-functional
partners to maintain a high bar for craft and execution. Googles
mission is to organize the worlds information and make it
universally accessible and useful. Our Devices & Services team
combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create
radically helpful experiences for users. We research, design, and
develop new technologies and hardware to make our users interaction
with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding
new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form
factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services
team is making peoples lives better through technology. The US base
salary range for this full-time position is $178,000-$265,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can
share more about the specific salary range for your preferred
location during the hiring process. Please note that the

salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
Responsibilities Develop and contribute to Augmented Reality (AR)
System UI architecture, interaction models, and UI framework in
close collaboration with the rest of the UX team and
cross-functional partners. Own and deliver design work and
collaborate closely with UX Engineers as part of a
prototyping-driven design and discovery process. Partner with
cross-functional and cross-product teams to define the product
outlook, contribute to user research, product strategy, and execute
on the aligned outlook. Solve highly ambiguous and complex design
problems involving both screen-space and spatial design. Help
define pragmatic interaction design systems and patterns, execute
on final designs, and communicate user narratives with strategic
reasoning behind design decisions.
