**Photographer****Brand - Mountain View, CA - Full Time**Job Description KiwiCo is an innovative eCommerce company that sparks a kids creativity and curiosity through hands-on projects. We believe by offering an awesome, engaging way to explore, create, and problem-solve, we can truly arm kids with the creative confidence and tools to change the world. Our core product is a subscription service that delivers fun and learning to kids from ages 0 - 104. We also have an online store and a content hub for families. We take great pride and ownership in the products and experiences we design and in the community of parents and kids we serve. Our offices are located in Mountain View, CA. Currently, we are working remotely. As guidelines permit, we will move to our plan of hybrid, remote/in-office work.**Role and Responsibilities**KiwiCo is seeking a Photographer, with an eye for both studio and lifestyle photography, who can help conceptualize, plan, set-up, shoot, and edit photos used to support our products and marketing content. We are looking for someone who has technical skills in lighting, shooting and editing both studio product and talent photography and lifestyle. The ideal candidate would have an eye for staging, a broad operating range, and be able to think and plan shoots strategically, while acting quickly against the day-to-day execution. Some videographer experience and editing skills are a plus.**Responsibilities include:*** Capturing still photos of our products in studio and in lifestyle, to be used in our printed materials, online shop, and retail packaging. Helping maintain an organized library of photo assets for use across the company.* Planning, setting up, and running photoshoots, bringing your positive energy to help make sure the shoots run smoothly and are a great experience for our child models.* Collaborating with the marketing team to make sure the creative deliverables support the marketing goals, objectives and overarching campaign concept.* Taking projects from pre-production through completion, and working closely with the team to deliver work on time and on budget. * Sorting assets from past video shoots to ideate new ways to leverage the footage, and edit existing videos to put a fresh spin on them.* Editing our creative to tell a compelling on-brand narrative.* Maintaining our visual standards for still photos, while also experimenting with shooting, lighting, and retouching to help us continue to develop and improve our style.* Working with kids ages 0-17 on set by creating a fun, positive experience for them while capturing the content we need.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelors degree with 5+ years of photo/video experience working in a studio or in the field.* Strong experience with editing and retouching photos. Youre confident both behind the camera and in the editors chair.* Ability to style a studio shot to elevate a product moment.* Hands-on, get things done mentality. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, small company environment. You can multitask and meet changing deadlines, while still paying attention to details. * Resourceful and Flexible. You can see a project through from the idea stage to completion, and are willing to do whatever it takes to make it a success. You have the ability to balance and productively resolve pressing demands and timelines in order to deliver against the company vision and goals.* Youre an innovative thinker who can solve problems creatively but also have a strong desire to continue learning and building upon your skills.* Great communication skills. Youre highly collaborative, can work within cross-functional teams, and are able to give and receive feedback well.* Strong organizational skills. Youre great at keeping a production running smoothly and always keep your project files organized, tagged, and available for other team members.* Superb aesthetic skills.
