This acquisition represents Pure's largest to date and our deeper expansion into the fast-growing market for multi-cloud data services to support Kubernetes and containers.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
Pure Storage Marketing is looking for a Senior Marketing Operations responsible for supporting the Portworx marketing team. Portworx is a fast growing startup within Pure that is changing how the world manages containers in enterprise storage applications.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for establishing and executing the marketing operations strategy for the Portworx business. Key areas of responsibility include marketing metrics, lead management and owning the operational strategy behind marketing program execution.
The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of data analytics, business acumen, marketing and operations sense, agility, and communication skills. You have a tremendous appetite for data and can translate that data into performance insights to help refine Portworx's marketing strategy to drive results.
What You Will Be Doing


  • Develop and drive the operational strategy for the Portworx marketing team.
  • Be the operational advocate for Portworx with the larger operations and IT organizations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across marketing and sales operations to execute against the Portworx operational strategy.
  • Provide regular marketing funnel, pipeline and KPI reporting, analysis and insights.
  • Be a strategic advisor to the marketing team; leveraging data to deliver the critical insights that inform marketing investment decisions.
  • Work in collaboration with the Campaign Operations team to ensure strong execution of Portworx email and nurture efforts.
  • Drive the database segmentation strategy for Portworx.
  • Support the Portworx marketing planning and budget management processes.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

    • Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years experience in B2B Marketing.
    • 3 years experience with Marketing Automation and CRM systems.
    • Working knowledge of Allocadia, SFDC, Tableau and Marketo.
    • Strong analytical skills, adept at pulling, analyzing, and communicating business insights.
    • Budget management experience.
    • Creative problem solver, customer focus, process oriented, strong leader and, a high level of attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels inside and outside the company, across functions and time-zones.
    • Able to work effectively within a fast changing environment, tight deadlines, priority changes and multiple constituencies.
