What you'll bring

  • Strong Marketing Experience: Ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in marketing.
  • Intustry Experience: experience marketing to Large Accounting Firms preferred
  • Strategic & Analytical: Deep experience analyzing and making sense of data to develop business cases/plans and influence senior leaders, teams, and partner organizations to meet and exceed business goals.
  • Customer-obsessed: Leads with customer insight (internal stake holders and partners), obsessively seeks new insights that result in action, and advocates internally and externally on behalf of our customers. Leading A/B testing strategies and execution across all channels
  • Leadership & Impact: Previous experience leading a team of direct reports. Demonstrated leadership skills that resulted in broad impact across organizations. Requires a strategic mindset with capability of engaging in deep business and marketing-related discussions with senior management
  • Passionate About Results & Collaborative: Consistent track record of driving significant business results and successful cross-functional partnership across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Intellectually Curious Risk-taker: Understands the importance of trying and failing and encourages hypothesis driven experimentation.
  • Marketing Planning: Demonstrated experience setting marketing strategies and plans for a brand and product line within a sales channel. Collaborate with accountant team to develop and enhance QTR plans
  • Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of best practices in marketing. Tactics focused on mid-market and potential to expand beyond digital.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Able to create strong processes and demonstrate effective project management skills to drive execution cross-functionally across all key constituents
  • Self-starter: Demonstrated track record where he/she has operated independently and efficiently to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Versatile Do-er: Forward-thinking leader with the ability to create strategy, drive decisions and take action, and to roll up their sleeves and execute.
  • Ability to travel as required- once domestic travel resumes for our teams. (TBD) estimated travel once per quarter to the Bay Area.
    How you will lead

    • Develops GTM Plans: Drives the strategy and plans for delivering the outcomes for the Large Accounting Firms (LAF) and their client base. Strong consumer insights to translate to high impact marketing vehicles. With ability to be resourceful and identify creative solutions. Lead short- and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive/nurture leads and the sales pipeline
    • Thought Leadership: Leverages broad leadership skills and insights from clients and sales to influence the prioritization of resources to build a scalable sales playbook and programmatic motion for LAF.
    • Marketing Leadership: Possesses in-depth knowledge of the accounting business, SMB client persona, and channels, as well as savvy strategic and tactical marketing skills to drive aggressive growth and awareness.
    • Strategic Influence: Strong executive presence with ability to influence and make recommendations. Role results in high interaction with accountant community.
    • Proactively Seizes Opportunities: Develops & executes on solutions to address E2E platform solutions & spearheads opportunities for growth rooted in channel insight and gaps. Analyzing the effectiveness of demand gen campaigns and optimizing overall campaign and program performance
    • Builds Organizational Collaboration: Active leader/teacher/community-builder across stakeholders, the broader marketing function, and GDC cross-functional teams.
    • Team Development: Ability to coach, lead and develop a team of direct reports
