Minimum qualifications:8 years of experience managing vendor operations, designing and implementing contingent workforce management models, and developing business operations processes.Experience with operational processes in a technical environment while driving vendor performance through process development.Experience in vendor operations process design and mapping, requirements gathering, and process re-engineering/implementation.Preferred qualifications:8 years of experience managing regionally-distributed, function-support vendor teams in a technical field.Experience with stakeholder management, relationship management, and project management.Experience with management for temporary and contingent workforce in the quality assurance testing field, including agreements, financial management, compliance, etc.Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills while using a data-driven approach with operational metrics.Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills. About the job The Vendor Management Office is a central vendor operations team across Google. We partner with stakeholders across various business areas and provide support, including but not limited to operations consulting, vendor management, operational reporting and analytics, driving cross-business area programs, and helping to operationalize the product's goal in a compliant and scalable manner. The goal of this team is to increase the productivity of our stakeholders and bring in economies of scale, efficiency, and operational diligence by deploying high quality vendor operations.As an Operations Manager, you will manage a large vendor team to drive key programs and ensure delivery according to agreement terms. You will manage key performance indicators and financials and determine workflow allocation for global projects involving vendor operations across multiple geographies, suppliers, and platforms. You will also work closely to develop and implement supplier programs, driving discussions, managing supplier performance, and conducting follow ups to measure the impact of your recommendations. Responsibilities Manage a large vendor team and own key programs impacting global vendor operations in order to ensure high quality services delivery to all customers. -Work closely with business teams to review vendor workflow changes and ongoing process improvements, perform forecasting and capacity planning, and help teams and suppliers prepare accordingly.Identify opportunities to transform and develop a Quality Assurance Testing engineering workflow, and identify relevant performance metrics around quality, cost and efficiencies. Identify process gaps, implement changes, and measure improvements to existing process frameworks. -Develop scalable solutions, work to manage risks across the organization, and develop best practices.Lead regular business reviews and any vendor relationship management activities.
