- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, investment
banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate strategy,
business operations, or in a technology/media company.
- Experience with stakeholder management.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Bachelor's degree in a technical, quantitative, or a
business field.
- Experience managing relationships and working
cross-functionally within global organizations.
- Ability to maintain attention to execution details.
- Outstanding program management skills with ability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong ambiguous problem-solving and executive communication
skills, with ability to facilitate meetings with executives and
partner across multiple functions in an organization.About the
jobThe Business Strategy & Operations organization provides
business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross
functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive
strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused
on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective
day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into
future-growth initiatives.As a Strategy and Operations Lead for the
Global Business Organization (GBO)/Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you
will be responsible for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency
of key decisions and making sure the organization stays on top of
its annual goals. You will partner closely with teams across GBO
and GTM as well as cross-functionally with a varied set of
stakeholders including Finance, People Operations, and others.
The Global Business Strategy (GBS) team helps make Google's complex
business organization run smoothly. The group drives core planning
activities and develops frameworks to integrate global business
strategies across the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships
organizations. Experts in both Google's go to market organization
and the industries where we compete, they drive strategic and
operational improvements while working closely with Senior
Leadership on a range of critical initiatives and projects. The GBS
team is at the forefront of addressing the Business organization's
most strategic priorities, reporting and working directly for
Google's Chief Business Officer. The US base salary range for this
full-time position is $169,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity +
benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the
minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position
across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is
determined by work location and additional factors, including
job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

- Lead time-sensitive strategic projects for executive leaders by
understanding context and developing a prioritized scope and
approach for resolution in ambiguous situations.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, People Operations,
Marketing, and Communications teams to scope, manage and execute
strategic projects.
- Derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data
analysis, communicate key findings to leadership with
executive-ready presentations, project management priorities and
program managing efforts on behalf of our stakeholders.
- Support executive communications and engagements within the
organization. Help shape the agendas for cadence of executive
meetings.
- Support the development and track progress of GBO/GTM annual
Objectives and Key Results and priorities throughout the year.
Manage the annual planning process and support team operations
