We're seeking a Financial Regulatory Compliance Attorney to guide
the company as it exponentially grows its financial services
offerings. The Financial Regulatory Compliance Counsel is
responsible for assisting in the ongoing development,
implementation, and assessment of Intuit's compliance program.

This role is hybrid with on-site expectations of 2-3 days per
week.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work directly with Products Attorneys and the broader Legal and
Compliance team to strengthen our regulatory compliance operating
environment with respect to financial sector issues such as
consumer protection, credit reporting and fair lending and payment
systems.
- Educate and advise legal and business colleagues on relevant
regulations, pending legislation, and fintech industry trends by
providing practical solutions/alternatives to business issues and
initiatives.
- Develop, broadcast, and train on regulatory policies that span
our entire Intuit ecosystem.
- Partner with our regulatory/licensing exam management team to
serve as the legal point of contact for examination oversight,
audits, submissions, and regulatory communication.
- Partner with Global Corporate Affairs to advise and comment on
pending legislation and shape thought leadership in the external
environment.
Qualifications and Prior Experience
- Deep subject matter knowledge of financial services regulation,
including but not limited to FCRA, ECOA/Reg B, TISA/Reg DD,
TILA/Reg Z, CCPA, GLBA/Reg P/Privacy, Fair Lending, UDAAP, RESPA,
TCPA, CAN-SPAM, SAFE Act, SCRA, FDCPA and 3rd party relationship
risk management.
- Experience building or participating in compliance management
systems, including performing regulatory compliance reviews.
- Ability to understand laws/regulations and effectively
communicate the requirements to legal colleagues as well as
business team members.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to produce clear and succinct written legal analysis and
business communications, counsel and manage clients, including
senior management.
- Ability to effectively frame issues to drive strategic thinking
and execution.
- Ability and drive to operate in a fast paced environment managing
multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Substantial experience interacting with U.S. regulators, such as
OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve, CFPB, New York DFS, or California
DFPI.
JD and membership in good standing with at least one US State
Bar.
