OverviewCome join Intuit as a Principal Financial Analyst. What
you'll bring: Complex analytic based insights reflecting robust
business acumen (larger, more complex components of plan, ops
review, etc). Process definition with leader of business group that
is supported. Accurate forecasts with risks/opportunity assessment
for individual responsibility area w/ high level of complexity.
Highly complex analytics that are framed in a thoughtful and simple
manner that aligns to the key drivers of the analysis. Broad
slide/story creation for presentations in partnership with sr. mgmt
and key business partners. Proactive thought leadership that
clarifies strategic thinking / priorities of the business "beyond
finance" or other improvements that results in significant business
impact. Systems development that delivers financial information
with integrity, utility and is internal customer centric with
significant impact; Provide strategic build out of systems,
reporting. Career development plan for self. True leadership of the
team. Proactive teaching to the finance org beyond core areas of
responsibility through learn-teach-learn. How you will lead:
Operates in a lead capacity. No direct reports, but proactively
influences, leads & coaches across the Finance organization. Helps
guide the BU/FG operating mechanisms to execute against the
priorities. Significant input to BU/FG strategy and resulting
priorities leveraging deep understanding of core/adjacent markets.
Leads discussions regarding strategy and resulting finance team
analytics/priorities. Leads cross functional project teams.
Proactively influences thinking of BU/FG leaders and setting of
BU/FG priorities. Often sets the agenda for Finance & business
oriented initiatives. Effective framing and presentation skills on
more complex and ambiguous business problems. Helps lead
presentation materials for business partners. Presentations of
analytics are "turn key" to forward and present to business
partners and executive management. Significant coaching and
leadership of finance employees, but no direct reports; Influence
deployment of best practices across all BU/FG. Proactively works
directly with business partners with little to no approvals
required from manager. Effectively prioritizes own work and helps
prioritize work for team. Translates complex and ambiguous business
problems (e.g. strategic analysis, M&A, new business
initiatives) to simple analytical frameworks. Uses advanced
financial methodologies and leverages strong
presentation/communication skills.Triangulates facts/data
(including non financial data) to check the validity of
hypothesis/analysis. Links analysis to the strategy of the business
and considers non-financial implications in analysis and
recommendations. Requires high levels of
judgment/innovation/creativity to address the issue at hand.
Effective use of inquiry vs. advocacy to work across
boundaries/debate. Decisions have high impact on resource
allocation and near-term revenue growth.
