Project Leader - Healthcare (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. - Mountain View, California): Lead the design and development of long-term sales and marketing strategies for clients within the consumer healthcare sector in order to achieve superior efficiency, revenue growth, and organizational capability. Specific duties include: ascertain and define client needs or problem areas; research and assess sales figures and marketing spend; perform sophisticated modeling to evaluate existing marketing initiatives and sales force effectiveness; evaluate and develop go-to-market strategies; manage case team responsibilities including personnel assignments, research and analysis, and reports to clients; undertake critical evaluation of analytical work performed using advanced economic and financial analysis techniques; oversee and direct consultants and junior professional staff; oversee project planning and preparation of outputs; present findings to senior client management; and oversee business development and client relationships. Requires a Bachelors degree in bioengineering, biotechnology, public health, healthcare management or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience as a management consultant or business analyst, which must include at least (1) year of experience providing business strategy and recommendations focusing on pricing to companies in the healthcare sector. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section) - must possess the following: (i) performing marketing mix modeling and marketing spend optimization; (ii) conducting game theory analysis for go-to-market strategy evaluation; (iii) creating customer journey and experience charts; (iv) evaluating sales force effectiveness; (v) developing B2B contact database and marketing use case evaluation; (vi) applying advanced economic and financial analysis theories such as competitive cost and decision analysis, capabilities assessment, portfolio review based on financial reports, and experience and scale curve analysis; (vii) conducting advanced analysis of scale economies, seasonal effects on financial forecasts, impact of uncertainties on business outcomes, corporate financing policies and evaluation of factors that influence a company's debt capacity; and (viii) managing individuals, teams and processes.
